The Most 10 Rewatchable Movies

There are some movies that I always stop at and watch if I see them on TV or I can put in the DVD player and watch when I'm board and never get tired of. I'm sure you have the same movies. They may be your favorite movie or they're just that good. I'll start and you add to the list. What movies - theatrical releases, made for TV, direct to video, holiday special, whatever - have the highest rewatch value for you?


Forrest Gump


In 1981, Forrest Gump recounts his life story to strangers who sit next to him on a bench at a bus stop in Savannah, Georgia.
On his first day of school in 1950s Greenbow, Alabama Forrest meets a girl named Jenny Curran who, unlike the other children, immediately befriends young Forrest. Due to leg braces fitted to correct a curved spine, Forrest is unable to walk properly. One day, a young truck driver stays at the boarding house that Forrest lives in with his mother. T
he young truck driver turns out to be Elvis Presly who, while playing guitar for him, becomes enthralled at the jerky hip thrusting movements that the hobbled Forrest makes while trying to dance. Later on, Elvis becomes famous by imitating the dance.

Back to the Future
Back to the Future is a 1985 American science-fiction adventure comedy film. It stars Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty Mcfly, who is sent back in time to 1955, where he meets his future parents in high school and accidentally becomes his mother's romantic interest. 
Christopher Lloyd portrays the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmet''Doc''Brown, Marty's friend who helps him repair the damage to history by helping Marty cause his parents to fall in love. Marty and Doc must also find a way to return Marty to 1985.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope) is a 1977 American epic space opera. It is the first film in the original Star Wars trilogy and the beginning of the Star Wars franchise. 
The film's plot focuses on the Rebel Alliance, led by Princess Leia (Fisher), and its attempt to destroy the Galactic Empire's space station, the Death Star
This conflict disrupts the isolated life of farmhand Luke Skywalker (Hamill), who inadvertently acquires two droids that possess stolen architectural plans for the Death Star. 
When the Empire begins a destructive search for the missing droids, Skywalker accompanies Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Guinness) on a mission to return the plans to the Rebel Alliance and rescue Leia from her imprisonment by the Empire.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy
The Lord of the Rings is a film series consisting of three high fantasy adventure films.
Set in the fictional world of Middle-earth, the films follow the hobbit Frodo Baggins  as he and a Fellowship embark on a quest to destroy the One Ring, and thus ensure the destruction of its maker, the Dark Lord Sauron
The Fellowship eventually splits up and Frodo continues the quest together with his loyal companion Sam and the treacherous Gollum. Meanwhile, Aragorn , heir in exile to the throne of Gondor, Legolas, Gimli, Merry, and Pippin , and the wizard Gandalf unite to rally the Free peoples of Middle-earth in the War of the one ring.
The Princess Bride
The Princess Bride is a 1987 American romantic comedy fantasy adventure film 
It tells the story of a farmhand named Westley, accompanied by befriended companions along the way, who must rescue his true love Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck. 
The film effectively preserves the novel's narrative style by presenting the story as a book being read by a grandfather to his sick grandson.

Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is a 1993 American science-fiction adventure film
The film is set on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, located off Central America's Pacific Coast near Costa Rica, where a billionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists have created a wildlife park of cloned dinosaurs.

Home Alone
Home Alone is a 1990 American comedy film. The film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, a boy who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation. Kevin initially relishes being home alone, but soon has to contend with two would-be burglars.
The film also features Catherine O'Hara and John Heard as Kevin's parents.
Groundhog Day
Groundhog Day is a 1993 American fantasy-comedy film, based on a story by Rubin
. Murray plays Phil Connors, an arrogant Pittsburgh TV weatherman who, during an assignment covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, finds himself caught in a time loop, repeating the same day again and again. After indulging in hedonism and committing suicide numerous times, he begins to re-examine his life and priorities.
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
In 1936, archaeologist Indiana Jones braves an ancient booby-trapped temple in Peru and retrieves a golden idol. He is confronted by rival archaeologist Rene Belloq and the indigenous Hovito people. Surrounded and outnumbered, Jones surrenders the idol to Belloq and escapes aboard a waiting floateplane.
Jones returns to his teaching position at Marshall College, a ficticious New England college, where he is interviewed by two Army Intelligence agents. They inform Jones that the Nazis are searching for his old mentor, Abner Ravenwood, under whom Jones studied at the University of Chicago.
 The Nazis know that Ravenwood is the leading expert on the ancient city of Tanis in Egypt, and that he possesses the headpiece of the Staff of Ra. Jones deduces that the Nazis are searching for the Ark of the Covenant — the Nazis believe that if they acquire the Ark, their armies will become invincible. The Staff of Ra is the key to finding the Well of Souls, a secret chamber in which the Ark is buried.

The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight is a 2008 superhero film .In the film, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Bale), Police Lieutenant James Gordon (Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent(Eckhart) form an alliance to dismantle organized crime in Gotham City, but are menaced by a criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Ledger) who seeks to undermine Batman's influence and create chaos.
